Several readers have asked me when will I post about the Atlantic City revolving mayors. You can read my article Forget it, Jake, it's Atlantic City at Pajamas Media today.

I'm sure you all remember that line from Chinatown.

Until recently, Hsu, 56, traveled in glittering circles as one of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's most prolific supporters, raising more than $1.2 million for the New York Democrat and other Democratic candidates in the last three years.

In August, however, The Times revealed he was a fugitive, wanted in connection with a 1991 theft case. Since then, federal prosecutors have accused the Hong Kong native of masterminding a $60-million Ponzi scheme and breaking election laws by reimbursing associates for political donations made in their names.

Hsu also has been sued by investors in Southern California and New York who say he defrauded them and, in some cases, pressured them to make campaign contributions.

What I want to know is, who was bankrolling Hsu?

Essential Manners for Men: What to Do, When to Do It, and Why

Anecdotes on cricket matches and beach houses aside, this is a very entertaining book explaining the when and how of ettiquette without lapsing into metrosexual/henpecked/women on pedestals mannered foolishness. Post (Emily's great-grandson) is especially good in explaining the why for manners (page xxi):

Etiquette is governed by three principles: consideration, respect, and honesty. These provide the framework for defining every manner that has ever been formulated. Each of these principles is timeless. These principles transcend cultural boundaries, cross socioeconomic boundaries, and apply equally to all ages.

In today's world, where everybody's life is laid bare on the internet, cell phones and emails, this is most valuable advice.

While the book is aimed at men, women need to learn how to behave appropritately, too, particularly towards men. I recommend this book to women not so they find fault in men's behavior and go nagging them into propriety, but to understand that there are limits to a man's forebearance (which many women tend to forget), and that it is appropriate for a man to not want to be with a woman who only demands (but can't deliver) consideration, respect and honesty.

May we all live by all three.

Hsu-stock: Now granted $5 million bail

Captain Ed has named it: Hsu-stock.

The suicidal Hsu, who had only only skipped bail once 15 years ago, but also just last week, was granted $5 million bail again:

The judge set the bond, saying that "$2 million wasn't enough to keep Mr. Hsu from running. We'll see if $5 million will do it."

We'll see, alright.

$5 million is chump change for Hsu, who had

a checkbook with a $6 million balance belonging to Mr. Hsu upon his arrest.

Now, let me ask this bluntly:

WHO IS BANKROLLING HSU?
In the meantime, we can all keep arguing about whether Hillary's people didn't know that gold-plated Hsu was on the lam for fifteen years.

They have enough on their greedy hands having to deal with the Peter Paul lawsuit. Here's a report from that arm of the vast right-wing conspiracy:

Betsy's posting on the Clinton dynasty, asking why is there so little debate about Hillary Clinton's claims for experience when that experience is mostly acquired in her role as a spouse.

I disagree with Betsy; Hillary has plenty of experience where it count$.

Hsu gets sick, gets caught, one of The Busted Clintonistas

Hsu was arrested in Grand Junction, CO, after he fell ill on an Amtrak train.

Allahpundit says that

The feds are going to drop the interstate fugitive charge against him when they turn him over to California? Huh?

The WaPo highlights how the Clintonistas don't google their contributors:

For many people who crossed paths with Hsu in politics, his disappearance left them wondering whether they ever really knew him. "I think a lot of us are scratching our heads," said Hassan Nemazee, a Clinton fundraiser in New York.

But of course, Hsu's not the only Clinton supporter that got busted this week: Clinton Supporter Arrested in N.J. Corruption Sting

Among the 11 public officials arrested in an F.B.I. corruption sting in New Jersey today was a leading Democratic supporter of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign in that state, Mayor Samuel Rivera of Passaic.

Mr. Rivera is one of about 100 members of Mrs. Clinton's Mayors Council, which, according to a campaign press release in July, "will advise the campaign on policy and outreach."
...
Blake Zeff, a spokesman for the Clinton campaign, just e-mailed to say that Mayor Rivera stepped down from Mrs. Clinton's Mayors Council today.

Will the judges let Hsu out on bail again? The chances are that Rivera will get out on bail, if he isn't already.

We're making progress. As I noted yesterday, the party affiliation is not mentioned when there's a Democrat busted, because that's "The Rule"

If the party is reported, the perpetrator is REPUBLICAN. If there is NO party identification of a bad person, the perpetrator is AUTOMATICALLY A DEMOCRAT.

The Busted Clintonistas - a good name for a rock band. Heck, make that a symphonic orchestra: there are 47 individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine who have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes. And that doesn't include the ones still on the lam.
