I could almost weep: James Bond's Aston Martin DBS falls in the drink
Bond car plunges into Lake Garda
A stunt driver has crashed the car used by movie secret agent James Bond into Italy's Lake Garda during filming of 007's latest movie, Quantum of Solace. The Beeb has video.
The driver was delivering the iconic Aston Martin DBS to the film scene in heavy rain when he lost control around one of the lake's narrow curves.
Looks totalled.

It may be iconic but wasn't his Aston Martin destroyed in a rollover car crash in Casino Royale? I've always wondered how much Bond's insurance premiums were and did the current Bond have to pay Ken Livingston's congestion fee each time the spy chased someone through London?
Maybe he's licensed to avoid the fees, Pat!
Is that production cursed, or what? There was a second accident, and it was more serious injury-wise.

In the first wreck - the water plunge one - the stunt driver's injuries were minor. But not this time; it's more serious. Time to get the local priest to bless the production; their luck's going in the wrong direction.
