Confessional governors

As if we hadn't had enough, here's another confessional governor:
Gov. Paterson admits to sex with other woman for years

Given the call-girl scandal that erupted last week and forced Spitzer's stunning resignation, Paterson conceded that top government officials are bound to come under closer scrutiny for their personal actions.

Here's a question: Did Paterson use public funds for his dalliances? Were any of the dalliances possibly connected to organized crime? Was he a staunch prosecutor of adulterers while indulging?

If the answer to any of the above is no, then I really don't care to hear it. His private life is none of my business.

But at least the Daily News respects his privacy and didn't mention at all his party affiliation.

How nice of them.
