Cannabis bigger cancer risk than cigarettes: study
Smoking a joint is equivalent to 20 cigarettes in terms of lung cancer risk, scientists in New Zealand have found, as they warned of an "epidemic" of lung cancers linked to cannabis.
...
In an article published in the European Respiratory Journal, the scientists said cannabis could be expected to harm the airways more than tobacco as its smoke contained twice the level of carcinogens, such as polyaromatic hydrocarbons, compared with tobacco cigarettes.

The method of smoking also increases the risk, since joints are typically smoked without a proper filter and almost to the very tip, which increases the amount of smoke inhaled. The cannabis smoker inhales more deeply and for longer, facilitating the deposition of carcinogens in the airways.
Bill Clinton will certainly be relieved to hear it, considering how he didn't inhale

That article about marijuana is incorrect and has been disproven so much that I'm not even going to bother to cite anything because the information is that solid and easy to find. Hemp buds do not produce the nitrates that cigarettes do when burned, and those nitrates are the highest risk carcinogens in tobacco. Marijuana does not increase the risk of cancer. It contains no natural carcinogens and isn't generally processed otherwise. That article is propaganda.

In addition to all of these well-documented and studied facts, the sample groups mentioned in this new article are embarrassingly small to being making such a bold (incorrect) statement contesting real research.

I wouldn't know, Anonymous. I can't use marijuana since it gives me a huge migraine!
