Just hope he doesn't get criticized by fellow Muslims!!
chaya, your comment implies that a good human who happens to be muslim is not the norm but the exception. The more than billion muslims in the world are composed of good and bad like any other religion. Dont let politics prevent you from helping another human being.
Yes, that is my experience! All over the world it is Muslims who are persecuting and rioting and killing. If the majority of Muslims are really good, then let them come out and say so! It is a 'man bites dog' story!

I comend 2 enlightened individuals Walter Adler and Hassan Askari and their familes. We all hope to be improved individuals tommoro than we were today
You call me a racist? You don't even know who I am! And you hide behind the word 'Anonymous!' In the world today, it is Muslims who are killing non-Muslims - and Muslims they disagree with - not another group of people! Wives and daughters are being murdered over 'honor!' Groups of Muslims are rampaging over 'slights' such as a cartoon or a teddy bear! So, when I read a story about a Muslim coming to the aid of a Jew, it is - yes - a 'man bites dog' kind of story. But I also know about a group of Muslims from Indonesia who came here to Israel to meet with leaders and rabbis to find some common agreement. This is also very encouraging considering the current climate. It is not being 'racist,' it is being realistic!
On the bus today, coming back from Tel Aviv, we went through Jaffa. On the walls were pictures that children had drawn - pictures of Christmas trees together with Channukah menorahs together with the Muslim crescent. Tel Aviv's mayor has also put up decorations along the street - a Santa Claus; a hannukiyah (menorah); a crescent moon - and they all say "Hag Sameach" (Happy Holiday)!!
Chaya if you are not a bigot you dont have to worry about my comments. About the issues you raised.
1. Men kill their wifes and daughters all over the world regardless of religion. Murder is Murder and a killer will make any excuse. In newyork a jewish doctor
murdered his jewish wife and chopped her into pieces and dumped her in the ocean. does it have to do with his religion? no it does not murder is murder. a jewish rabbi rapped 2 boys, did he study that in the torrah? no he did not rapist is a rapist. Diffrence is in the western world, men get to declare "Temporrary insanity" while in the muslim world no matter what the excuse, for murder penalty is death.
2. Now the extremist minority (0.0000000001% of muslims that you say are killing muslims and non muslims. I would equate them with likes of KKK and Aryan Nation in christans and Jewish Defense league(JDL) and Kach and their like minded people. and also some aethist orginizations in europe and south america and africa which i will not go into. These people will never change their mind and every generation some young children will be brainwashed with their ideas and will be lost forever.
Diffrence is that the muslim extremist are holding the guns and military training to back it up provided by the western world to fight the russians when they invaded afghanistan. when the russians left so did the western world, and the extremist were left holding the guns. The true peaceful muslims, the ones that follow the true islam, the ones that follow the holy book to the letter, the ones that follow the fundamentals of islam hence they are the true peaceful fundamentalist 99.99999999 Cant say anything because of the man with the gun. Only thing they can concentrate on is educating the future generations to come. As all 99.99999999 are doing.
out of the 7 billion beople on earth great majority want peace all except a very few humans regarless of religion get up in the morning and go to work and provide for their family not knowing when a bomber will blow up
or a isreali soliders will shoot them or drop a bomb on the apartment where he left his children and family.
just by your own comments about indonesssian muslims and war torn poverty stricken palestnian children with pictures you should be more positive that peace among muslims is the norm because Peace is the norm for Humanity regardless of religion.
