Curating the coffee table? Plweeze!

In today's WSJ, Curating the Coffee Table
Designers Arrange Objects For Minuscule Spaces
(emphasis added)
There is no job too small for Americans to call in professional help.

A new group of specialists is joining the ranks of Christmas-light installers, closet organizers and color consultants: decorators who arrange the household knickknacks.

[coffee table]
Market niche: Coffee table arranged by Lauri Ward for a client in New York
For hourly fees generally ranging from $50 to $250, these microdesigners, known in the trade as rearrangers or accessorizers, will regroup the potted plants in the foyer, style the paperweight collection on the coffee table, create vignettes of country-style baskets atop kitchen cabinets or spruce up the presentation of the family china. If a client's own prize possessions just don't cut it, the accessorizers are only too happy, for an hourly fee, to shop for new items, culled from local design stores and antiques shops. Some will return each quarter to create seasonally themed displays, incorporating pumpkins in the fall, for instance.
For $250/hr I'll come to your house and rearrange your coffee table to look like mine:

And if you ask me nicely enough, I'll even throw in the old Economists for free.

You'll have to provide your own stapler, though.

Update, Saturday 14 October
SC&A likes my coffee table.

Three other people have emailed asking where did I buy the coffee table. The thing is, the coffee table is not a table, it's an old old solid wood (pine?) trunk that a relative kept in her attic for storage. It's 17" high, 24" deep, and 4'9" wide.
We use it as a coffee table because the room it's in is large, and
1. it's sturdy enough to hold all our feet (and clutter) when we are lounging around
2. it's spacious enough to store the dining room table extension leaves.
On a smaller scale, there's this one:

What great style!

You know, three dead shrinks would feel right at home...when can we drop by?

The three dead shrinks are always welcome. Particularly since the three dead shrinks have excellent taste in sofas.

No insult taken. I'm a Target customer because they offer very good value. The particular rug in the picture is a Rumanian rug we got some 15 yrs ago, but Target has great stuff and they have a very nice selection of handmade rugs that are very attractive.
