NJ politics: Menendez smears Kean

A friend just sent me this NY CBS news report: Menendez smears Kean. Marcia Kramer did an excellent job reporting this. CBS also has a video of the debate itself.

Menendez must really be desperate: Senator Ted Kennedy to campaign for him here in New Jersey. And Menendez didn't want to talk to Meet The Press because he wanted to debate in New Jersey with New Jersey journalists.

As for North Korea, Menendez blames Bush. Imagine that. What's even more ridiculous is Kean's attitude

In the thick of a hotly contested U.S. Senate race, Republican Tom Kean Jr. has decided to make a sharp break from George W. Bush, saying the president has made "horrendous mistakes" in Iraq, is "dead wrong" on the environment and also wrong to limit stem cell research.
